Dr. Butler performs Independent Medical Evaluations for:

Filing for veteran's benefits; Filing for social security disability benefits; Filing for surviving spouse benefits; VA malpractice.

It is important to gather as much information as possible about the veteran's health complaints acquired or aggravated while in the military. This includes the veteran providing a complete copy of their C File, which includes;

1. medical records while in the military.

2. medical records after separation from the military.

3. correspondence with the Veterans Administration.

4. correspondence from other parties.

5. A written history of about two pages, written by the veteran about his disability/illness while in the military and up to the present.

After receiving the records, the next process is to;

1. thoroughly read and evaluate all records.

2. research the medical literature to support these claims.

3. provide a professional written opinion.

4. follow up if further appeals are necessary
